The 5 New Faces of Ministry School

In recent years, ministry schools have taken on a new look.  No longer are people required to obtain a four year degree at an accredited seminary college, such as Dallas Theological Seminary or Liberty University, to achieve ministry experience and ordination.  As more importance is starting to be put on character, love for God and people, experience, and leadership development, rather than just book knowledge and preaching skills, new opportunities are developing to give training in broader areas and through more modern and various ways.  The new class of emerging ministry schools are meeting the needs of both people who are desiring to work in the ministry and those who want to learn how to make a bigger impact in their everyday lives.  There are a wide range of options available depending on the goal of each individual person and most schools welcome all ages over 18 and both full-time and part-time students.  We’re going to look at 5 schools offering different formats but there are several other great options that aren’t listed in this article.
